The 35th Edition of the International Cultural Moussem of Asilah will from June 21 to July 5, according to the Assilah Forum Foundation.
As part of this cultural event, the Summer University of Ibn Abbad Al Mouatmid Foundation will hold a series of discussions focused on “Climate change and food security with the technical approach and the human performance approach”, “The many contours of Orientalism in international and Arab contemporary arts” and “Seasons of the Arab Spring: our vision and that of others. “
In the same vein, participants in this great cultural event will also discuss the “Identity, diversity and cultural security” and “The media scene in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council in the light of changes in the regions” according to the same source.
It should be noted that many politicians, intellectuals, academics and researchers will participate in this event. On this occasion, the Summer University will honor the Moroccan novelist Ahmed El Madini by awarding him the Mohamed Zafzaf Prize for Arabic novels, in its 5th edition.
The program also includes live musical evenings, including the Mac Show-Band from Senegal, a Spanish flamenco group featuring artist Mariana Collado and a Portuguese Fado group, as well as Moroccan Andalusian music groups.
Workshops on fine arts, painting and engraving will be supervised by Peruvian artists, Japanese, Italian, Syrian and Moroccan as well as a workshop dedicated to writing and creativity of the child will also be on the menu for this event.
